Drop-Off Policy
For the safety and comfort of all dancers, students ages 7 and older must follow our designated drop-off procedures. Parents of dancers ages 6 and under may choose to stay in the building or leave during class. If leaving, parents must sign out with their name, their child’s name, and a current phone number so we can contact you if needed for emergencies, bathroom assistance, or other immediate needs.

In Our Lobby
To maintain a calm and safe environment, we follow a quiet lobby policy. We allow one adult per dancer in the lobby. All phones, toys, and electronic devices must be silenced to avoid disrupting classes. Please use the designated lobby chairs and benches—sitting on the floor is not permitted, as dancers move through the lobby regularly. Parents are not permitted to wait in our downstairs area during class time as instructed by our fire marshall.

In Our Classrooms
Dancers are expected to be respectful, polite, and kind to both their classmates and GCDS staff. To ensure a positive learning environment, any dancer who is repeatedly disruptive may be asked to leave the classroom for the day.

Dress Code
All dancers are expected to follow the required dress code for their specific class. To ensure safety and proper training, any dancer who arrives in incorrect attire will be asked to step out of class until they are properly dressed.

Attendance
Regular attendance is essential for dancers to develop their skills and stay aligned with their class. When absences become frequent, it can impact both individual progress and group choreography. Dancers with excessive absences may be at risk of not performing in the recital.
